Over 80 Iranian Lawmakers Urge Government to Pursue “U.S. Crimes” in International Courts

According to KhabarOnline, More than 80 members of Iran’s parliament have formally called on Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to pursue what they described as “U.S. crimes” through international judicial bodies.
The demand was raised during a public session of the Iranian parliament, as Ahmad Naderi, a member of the presidium, read out written notices from lawmakers to various ministries.
In other notices, MPs also urged the government to expand the use of artificial intelligence within the Ministry of Communications, prevent the smuggling of red soil from Hormuz Island, and ensure the daily payment of cash subsidies to bakeries.
Analysts say these parliamentary actions reflect the legislature’s growing push to increase oversight of the government and to emphasize an independent stance in the face of foreign pressure.
