Iran condemns recent Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon

Baghaei said on Friday that the recent airstrikes by the Israeli regime on targets in southern Lebanon represent a clear violation of Lebanon’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty.

He pointed out that the ongoing violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime over the past few months have reached approximately 5,000 instances, resulting in harm to Lebanese citizens, destruction of infrastructure, and disruption of the country’s reconstruction and economic development.

Baghaei emphasized that this situation arises from the inaction and continued appeasement by the ceasefire guarantors, namely France and the United States.

He stressed that both France and the United States bear direct responsibility for the breaches of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime.
