Araghchi criticizes performance of three European countries

Araghchi made the remarks in a meeting with his British counterpart, Yvett Cooper, ont sidelines of the 80th annual session of the UN General  Assembly in New york on Thursday.

During this meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister strongly criticized the performance of the three European countries regarding the Iranian nuclear issue, calling their insistence on reinstating the repealed Security Council resolutions unjustified, illegal, and irresponsible.

He said that the approach of the three European countries and the United States over the past 10 years has had no logic other than trying to deprive the Iranian people of their legitimate rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and this process culminated in the illegal attack by the United States and the Zionist regime on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities and the three European countries’ complacent silence in response.
